5 Ways To Save On... Accessories
For this newsletter, I’m focusing on accessories. Here’s my top five ways to save:1. Get a friend to do your hair. You can have a girly giggle and enjoy being pampered for free.
2. Use the beauty counters in your local department store for your makeup and practice sessions. You’ll get perfect make-up for free!
3. Make your veil instead of buying it. There are lots of veil patterns available and it will be much cheaper.
4. If you’re buying a veil from a shop, get a plain one and embellish it yourself.
5. Borrow accessories such as jewellery, tiara and garter; it will help you keep to ‘something old, new, borrowed, blue’.
New Cheap Wedding Tip
With spring in the air, the wedding shows start to get going. These are a great place to get ideas, but an absolute money spinner for all the vendors. A word of warning, go to the shows for the ideas, but hold on to your cash – YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. Make sure you follow the golden rule of get three quotes; otherwise you’ll pay over the odds. (And I don’t mean three quotes from the vendors at the shows!)Final Thought From Me
Well, the site’s going well and it’s slowly growing. I hope you’re getting lots from it too. Over the coming weeks, I’m going to be looking at some more invitation ideas and wedding rings. So watch out for some cheap wedding tips on these areas.Stuart and I have also had an invite to our next wedding. Actually it was two invites, but unfortunately, they’re on the same day. So we’re off to Richmond in August and Stuart is an usher. I don’t think it’ll be a cheap wedding, but I’m sure they’ll be lots of juicy ideas to share!
