Buying and Using Cheap Wedding Cameras

Finding a stockist of cheap wedding cameras is easy. You can pick up a disposable camera for a couple of pounds from the supermarkets and more often than not, you can find great value cheap disposable camera multipacks too. But disposables aren't the only way to go.

It’s always nice to put a couple of cameras on the tables so your guests can make sure they’re in the picture, but beware, you may only get one or two good shots and that’s if you get the camera back! You don’t always have to have a disposable camera for some guest-angle shots and so this article provides some other ideas.

Guest angle shots
The digital age has bought with it a revolution and most people these days have a digital camera. You can point and click, check out the photo and then keep or bin it. The end result? Perfect shots every time (or at least until the drinks start flowing).

Why not take advantage of your friend’s photos? Ditch the disposable cameras of yesteryear and get a sneak preview of your wedding photos instead.

Instant wedding pictures
Ask your guests to bring along their camera USB cables and then during the reception, let them to download their photos. You’ll obviously need a laptop or computer on hand – so plan carefully (think safety and security).

Later that night you can put the pictures on slideshow or perhaps even use a projector, so everyone can check out how they look and you get a unique decoration feature.

It’ll also give you an opportunity to see what your professional photographer’s photos are like as well. I found that my friends often had the same pictures, but at a slightly different angle! A nice sneak preview for you!

Share the shots
Another option is to open up a Flickr account or other similar photo-sharing account. Get your guests to upload their photos to it and then instantly share the photos. You can give the log-in details to far away relatives, or those not able to make it, so they can all share your big day too.

So going for cheap wedding cameras isn’t necessarily the best option. If you want those one-off guest moments, then going digital, posting and sharing is likely to be better and certainly more cost effective.
