The Best Project Wins £25!

You can shave heaps off your budget if you have a do it yourself wedding. Not all aspects of your wedding have to be DIY, but there are some fairly big ways that you can save money. From cake baking to making your own wedding invitations, you can easily save thousands.

Submission Tips and Guidelines

*You must submit IDEAS & PHOTOS.

*You can enter as many submissions as you like as long as they’re all individual and your own ideas.

*Photos bring your project to life and add a personal twist to your submission. They need to be under 1MB and your original photo (or a friends).

* DIY projects must be your own ideas and not copied from any other source.

* Write your submission in a Word Doc and then copy and paste into the form here. It’ll make it easier than typing straight into the form.

*The sharing of ideas is for brides not businesses. If you’re a business and want to sell your products or services on this site, please contact me.

*The winner will be announced on Monday 30 June 2008 and the judge's decision is final.

Brides are beginning to cotton on to this and in a recent survey** by Cheap Wedding Success, over 65% are saving money by doing things themselves.

Wedding invitations, decorations, table centrepieces, favours, flowers and cakes - I want to see what you’re all making.
