Hotel Wording For Wedding Invitation?

Wedding invitation wording

How would I word the hotel information on an insert card with the invitation?

Answer:

If you’re getting married and have your reception in a hotel, then you could use the following traditional style wording:

Mr & Mrs Simon Brown
request the honour of
your presence at the marriage
of their daughter
Nicola Jane
to
Mr John Smith
at The Priory Hotel, Oxford
on Saturday 12th June
at 2 o’clock

Alternatively, you could change it around slightly so the date comes first and then the hotel information. On the invite insert itself, you only need to put the name of the hotel and the town. Any further details can go with your map and directions, which accompany any other information that your guests might need (such as gift list, accommodation, parking, etc).

You can find out more about wedding invitation wording here.

All the best!

Nicola
