It's a must-have read for anyone about to start planning a wedding big or small. It makes the
daunting job of planning a wedding much easier!!
There are loads of essential tips
that all brides and grooms should read before they even start planning their wedding, including
how not to get emotionally involved in the preparation. As you say, 'leave your emotions at home'
in any discussion where money is involved!
The lists of things to negotiate on for each
supplier are really handy. With the few vendors I've spoken to, I've just accepted the price
they printed and handed over the deposit. I now know that I don't have to accept the price they
say. I also appreciate that the finer points of negotiation are as much about building a
relationship over time to get more out of the supplier as it is about simply asking for money
off.
I especially liked the part on understanding how the industry works and some of the
