Stoke on Trent - Consall Hall Gardens

by Andi
(Nottingham)

I am saving up for my wedding. I have looked at many venues and found Consall Hall in Stoke-on-Trent to be one of the most beautiful. To hire the venue and reception room only costs £2500 this is with full access to all of the landscape gardens for photographs.

Consall hall is a real gem
by: Sue

We went to a wedding at Consall Hall, Staffordshire in June, my word what a venue, a real hidden gem. Michelle who helps run the venue was great, the gardens and pool terrace are so romantic.

The room has had some renovation work to it since we first visited, When we fisrt visited Justin (the other owner) said he would make some improvements and he has.

The food is WOW, the bridal party told me they sat down with the catering company and designed a menu around what they wanted, all created by themselves. I think the catering company was Vanilla in Allseasons!

Have a look at this place for a WOW day!

£2500 bargain in Somerset!
by: Jane Camp

We've booked Huntstile Organic Farm in Somerset - it's £2500 for the venue and this (wait for it) it also includes B&B for up to 22 guests in 8 lovely bedrooms on the Saturday AND the Sunday mornings - we can charge our guests for staying over, which most of them want to do anyway, and this will go towards paying our bill.

There are also camping facilities for friends who don't mind roughing it and beautiful gardens for afternoon drinks and photos.

If you want to use the marquee it's an extra £1500 for a huge swagged and lined jobby that will seat up to 140. Seating for 75 is thrown in and we will pay to hire additional chairs, tables, plates etc.

I fell in love with the farm as soon as we arrived, chickens running around and goats in the garden - it's idyllic! I've read lots of testimonials from other wedding couples there and we are going to have a fantastic time.

Cheap or not?
by: Nicola

I probably wouldn't say that £2,500 is cheap for a venue and access to the gardens, but the calibre of this venue looks great value for money. Compare it to some other venues such as hotels or country barns and you'd easily pay over £2,500 just to use the venue without access to stunning gardens.

You can find plenty of other venues that are much cheaper though, so don't forget to check out these are articles on cheap wedding venues and other reception ideas.
