How to Make a Wedding Buttonhole

A wedding buttonhole or boutonniere is easy to make and this video below shows you exactly how. It should only take a few minutes to make each one and should cost you less then buying them.

A few words of warning, if you are thinking about making your own for your wedding, give yourself plenty of time. Better still, get someone else to do this for you. You don’t want to be rushing on your wedding day.

This buttonhole uses a garden rose, but you could use any medium sized flower head including other roses, carnation, lily or gerbera. Be careful to choose flowers that will last the whole the day and be sure to match the buttonholes to your bouquet in terms of colour and type of flower.

Click to play the video and make sure your sound is turned up.
