Wedding flowers are usually the most beautiful flower arrangements. From the bridal bouquet to the church pews there are hundreds of opportunities to decorate your day with pretty, sweet smelling flowers.

Obviously, the more arrangements you have, the higher your costs and although wedding flowers tend to be expensive, they don’t have to cost the earth.

It’s easy to find beautiful, but inexpensive flowers for your wedding. There are plenty of options available to keep your costs down whilst still having plenty of flowers around you.

• Buy the flowers wholesale from florists or flower markets
• Use simple ideas for your bouquet, perhaps hand-tied or a single flower
• Select flowers that maintain a good, fresh look when out of water for a long time
• Get advice from a florist. They'll often give free advice on flowers and styles, even if you’re not going to use them
