Wedding Hair Styling Budgets

How much do people spend on getting their hair done on the big day? The quotes I seem to be getting from local salons seem extortionate for just doing a hairstyle!

I know they'd do a far better job than myself but at almost £90 that’s just over half of what I paid for my dress!! Any advice or rough estimates of what would be a reasonable quote.

I don’t blame you for not wanting to spend that kind of money on getting your hair done.

I use a mobile hairdresser to get my hair cut. I know she only charges £30-£40 for a wedding up-do. They are so much cheaper and are used to working in people’s homes.

My friend actually did my hair for my big day. I loved not having to be at a salon and was able to have my hair done without having to see other people.
