Wedding Venue In Sheffield - URGENTLY NEEDED!

After a year of planning, my wedding venue has just gone bust, with just 4 weeks until the big day! I'm struggling to find anywhere as it's so close to Christmas and those I do find are either too expensive (we're on a very tight budget) or really grotty and small!
I'm heartbroken, I'm tempted to cancel everything but we'll lose more money than I can afford, plus I don't think I'd ever have the heart to try and organise everything again.
We're in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, please give us your ideas.

My heart goes out to you!! That really is terrible. I'm not that familiar with Sheffield, so I can't recommend anywhere in particular.
Something you might want to consider is a restaurant or a bar which you could hire out, then you don't have to worry about the food and the setting will be quite nice. If things aren't quite on budget, then I'm sure your guests won't mind chipping in - I'm sure they'll understand!
You could also consider village halls, town halls, community centres, sports clubs, social clubs or arts centres.
Best of all, with the late notice, you should be able to find loads of late deals from the hotels. With the timing, you could actually try and negotiate them down further!
