There is also an outdoor marquee. There are plenty of opportunities for beautiful and unique photographs in the grounds and vineyard." Holiday Inn - Lakeview Bridge Road, Cambridge, CB24 9PH Phone: 0871-9429015 Hire Cost For Venue: £500 - £1,000 Recommended by Lorraine: "They catered for everything, they sorted the dj, bar service, catering and if I wanted - the balloons, flowers, chair covers, alternative entertainment etc...The staff are really helpful, plus their package deal for everything for £1000, includes the civil ceremony room hire (though we chose not to use this) arrival drinks, wedding breakfast, buffet and first night hotel room." You can decorate it as you like, it is a large space, with staging area for a band or dj, it is also in a really good location and has a very cheap bar too." Slepe Hall Hotel - Ramsey Road, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, PE27 5RB Phone: 01480 463122 Hire Cost For Venue: Less than £500 Recommended by Jenny: "Slepe Hall Hotel has a ceremony room to hire for only £75 and seats up to 60 people. Then there is a large reception room where you can have your meal and party for up to 200 people for a hire charge of only £200 or you can hire the restaurant for your meal for 65 people at £75 and the venue is very pretty. The large reception room is a bit like a village hall so you can decorate it however you want. They also don't hear the word "wedding" and bump up the price, it is the same no matter what the occasion is. The menu offers normal meals such as soup/roast/chocolate cake or fancier options if you want. Their prices are the same as a standard restaurant (not at a set price of £xx per head). You are not tied down to providing an evening buffet like most venues so if you don't want to feed your evening guests then there is no extra charge for them to come along, although the buffet prices start from £7/head if you do wish to feed them. You can bring your own wine for the meal although a corkage charge is incurred if you do, which is fair enough! The hotel gardens are pretty to have your photos in but if it is a rainy day, you may struggle to get great photos indoors. Chair covers are provided free of charge and they can order the sash of your colour choice for you at £1/sash. There are also 16 hotel rooms including a bridal suite. Slepe Hall Hotel is one of the best value wedding venues in Cambridgeshire that we have seen."
