I am referring to their amazing wedding for a grand. This consists of, room, glass of wine, and glass of bubbly, sit down meal and evening disco for 50 guests. Although the meal is basic you can't complain when you are getting all this for £1000."

The building is from around the 17th century with an 11th century chapel attached which gives the wedding and building a lot of character. They have extensive gardens suitable for marquee weddings and gorgeous photos."

Scraptoft Hill Farm has a large meadow and fantastic woods but most of all, the suggestions from the farmer, his wife and son have been invaluable! They are so friendly and are up for anything! We are having our legal ceremony the day before then getting married in the woods before having a kind of festival reception! Can't wait!! The costs are £7.50 per head for those sitting - discount for those who squat! This works out at £450 for us - the last two quotes were £1,500 and £2,500 for use of land/wood so we have a very beautiful bargain!!"
