The main hall can hold up to 150 people seated, 200 standing. There is also a kitchen for self catering so you can save loads on the catering too." Specialising in crepes, waffles and Belgian beer, I think my soon-to-be husband and I will be very happy there. They also do catering for parties, so if you love crepes and waffles - then this is a winner. It's a really charming little cafe set at the edge of an alternative market. It's got lovely wooden tables and chairs inside and the decor is reasonably presented. There are few tables outside too with lanterns and lots of lovely plants. If you're after something a little different and you're having a very relaxed wedding with less than 60 guests, then this would be a lovely place. Better in summer I think! It's my favourite of the wedding venues in London that we seen so far!" The Bickely Manor doesn't do hog roasts, which we want, but will let us and at no extra charge. They are fab." You basically get everything that a more expensive hotel would offer as a package at a fraction if you choose with care. Fantastic. So I thought I'd find out if its possible to hire them out for private parties. As it happens they do and they make really good cheap wedding venues in London! I've found a little gem in St Johns Square in Farringdon. It's a lovely, roomy contemporary bar called The Priory that will easily take 150 people standing and milling about. They hire out their venue for free, but you've got to spend £1,500 on food and drinks. I'm thinking of having my reception there next summer. As they're located in off the main road in a little square, we can spread out onto the cobbled area. It'll be lovely! I'm not sure whether to set a bar tab to my budget, then if we exceed that the guests can pay for themselves. Alternatively, we could fund it all ourselves. Anyway, I reckon there are loads of bars that would make great wedding venues in London. So if you live in London and want something a bit different, then look at the City for a cheap venue." The reception room was lovely, which lead out onto a secure and large pub garden for children to play and run about, the food was great, the staff were fantastic, and over the road from the venue was the perfect green setting for wedding photographs. It had an old country pub feel about it, in an idyllic area of Richmond, not far from Richmond park. The parking was simple and the little villagey feel of Ham itself was utterly gorgeous. This was one of those wedding venues in London with a really relaxed and friendly un-stuffy feel. As a result the bride and groom were relaxed and happy. It was economical and beautiful." If you have/know a friend who has a Greenwich Card then it is £600! Their catering company is very good and costs £35-£40 per head, and the people that work there are lovely and wonderful. This is one of the most charming wedding venues in London as the whole house is beautiful and there is a private walled garden that the wedding party has exclusive use of!"
