The food can be provided for you but they also allow you to do your own catering. They let you have the room for the whole day and the bar closes at 11.30 but can be extended. They are really flexible with decorating the venue as they allowed us to do pretty much what we wanted (within reason). The club secretary was a real pleasure to talk with also, very helpful!" They live in Wolverhampton and were looking for low key wedding venues in the West Midlands where they could get married and have some family and friends along. They were really unhappy with how the registry office looked and felt in Wolves so they started looking around at other registry offices to find one that was a little nicer.  As it turns out, the Dudley Registry office is in a gorgeous old manor house that is situated on the grounds of an old priory. The building is an immense, beautiful old gothic structure with a fantastic flower garden that is incredibly well maintained. Just a few meters away from the office on the same grounds stand the ruins of an old priory. As a photographer I have to tell you that this was not just one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the West Midlands I have ever photographed, but anywhere and I have photographed MANY places. The best part is that it only cost 50 pounds to get married there! They even have a webcam so that friends and family that are far away can tune in on the internet and see the ceremony. It can hold 100-150 people and it's recently been refurbished with a contemporary look. We're using Swindon golf club, near to our home in Dudley, West Midlands. It has beautiful views and a small terrace outside, ideal for a summer wedding. The food is very reasonable too, £14.95 per head for a 3 course meal or alternatively you can have a buffet style meal, they are very accommodating. The management are so friendly they put you at ease as soon as you walk in, nothing is too much trouble. They have all kinds of catering arrangements from as little as £5 per head! The room is decorated twice a year so is always at a very high standard and is really neutral so fits all colour schemes. For that extra special touch the ceiling has special lights in them that look like an amazing starry sky. We are getting married here next year and are really looking forward to our night there and pictures out in the gardens and on the fairy light decking, magical xxx."
